2012 Winter Seminar

The Bergenfield Fire Training Center is pleased to announce our winter seminar for 2012.  This year the BFTC will welcome Chief Billy Goldfeder, E.F.O, Deputy Fire Chief, Loveland-Symmes, OH FD. Billy will be presenting his Fire Officer and Firefighter Survival Program. Billy is an associate/contributing editor for Fire Engineering, Fire-Rescue, FireHouse, FireHouse.com, monthly columnist of FireHouse Magazine's "Close Calls"  and co-host of www.FirefighterCloseCalls.com

Also presenting this year will be one of Bergenfield's own David Phelan. Dave will be speaking on the Pitfalls and Perils of Fire Escapes. Dave is currently the safety officer for the Bergenfield Fire Department. He is also a New Jersey Division of Fire Safety certified Fire Official and Fire Instructor as well as a published author in Fire Engineering magazine. 

The seminar will be held Saturday March 3, 2012 at the Bergenfield High School located at 80 South Prospect Avenue Bergenfield, NJ 07621. Check in will start at 8:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Early bird registration with payment, voucher, or purchase order received by February 18, 2012 will be $30.00 per person. All registrations after this period will be $50.00 per person. There will be no cancellations or refunds after February 19, 2012.  Substitutions will be permitted. 


The NJ Division of Fire Safety will award 0.5 Fire Instructor CEU's for those attending.
